Infinite Campus

You will need the account activation information provided by District 126 via email. If you did not receive an activation email or activation key, please check spam for an email from noreply@zb126il.mg.infinitecampus.org. If you still do not have the email, contact the district at 847-731-9356.

Step 1: Open the Parent Portal

1. Navigate to the District 126 Infinite Campus Parent Portal, click New User?

 

Step 2: Enter Your Activation Key

1. Enter the Activation Key provided by District 126.
2. Click Submit.

Step 3: Create Your Account

1. Create a username and password.
2. Confirm your password.
3. Click Submit to complete account setup.

Step 4: Log In

1. Return to the Parent Portal login page.
2. Enter your newly created username and password.
3. Click Log In.

You now have access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Infinite Campus offers two mobile applications: Campus Parent and Campus Student.

Important: Parents and guardians should download and use Campus Parent. Students should download and use Campus Student.

Download the App

1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.

2. Search for Campus Parent (parents/guardians) or Campus Student (students).

3. Download and install the appropriate app.

4. Open the app and search for Zion-Benton Township High School District 126.

5. Sign in using your Infinite Campus username and password.

If you are unable to log in to the mobile app, verify that you are using the correct app and the same credentials used for the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Annual Online Registration must be completed each year for every student enrolled in District 126. This process allows families to review and update contact information, emergency contacts, health information, and required district forms.

Before You Begin

• Parent/guardian contact information

• Emergency contact information

• Student health information

• Residency or registration documents (if requested)

Complete Annual Online Registration

1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

    

2. From the Home page, locate the Shortcuts section. 

3. Select Annual Online Registration.

4. Choose the student you would like to register.
5. Review and update all requested information.
6. Complete all required forms and acknowledgements.
7. Electronically sign the registration forms.
8. Review your responses and submit the registration.

Important Information

• Annual Online Registration must be completed through the Campus Parent portal or app.

• Registration is required for each student every school year.

• Families with multiple students must complete registration for each student.

• You may save your progress and return later if needed.

The Infinite Campus Portal provided access to important student information and district resources. Depending on your student’s district services, you may have access to the following features:

Before You Begin

Please keep the following in mind when viewing student information in Infinite Campus:

• Grades and attendance information may not update immediately. Data is updated regularly throughout the school year.
• Individual teachers may use different grading practices and timelines for entering assignments and assessments.
• For the most current classroom information, students and families should also refer to Canvas and communications from teachers.
• Parents with multiple students can switch between students using the student selector located near the top of the portal.

Navigating the Portal

• Use the navigation menu on the left side of the screen to access portal features.
• On mobile devices, the navigation menu may appear as a menu icon (☰) in the upper corner.
• Select your profile icon to access account settings and notification preferences.
• Some features display information for a specific student, while others display information for the entire household.

Message Center

The Message Center provides access to district and school announcements, messages sent directly to parents and guardians, and surveys when available.

Today

The Today screen provides a snapshot of your student's current information, including their schedule, attendance, and other important items that may require attention.

Calendar

The Calendar allows you to review schedule and attendance information by date.

Grades

The Grades section displays current grades for the selected student. Depending on the course, grading information may be organized by term, quarter, semester, or full year.

Attendance

The Attendance section displays absences and tardies for the selected student. Additional details may be available by selecting individual attendance records.

Schedule

The Schedule section displays your student's class schedule, including teachers, room locations, and meeting times.

Food Service

Food Service provides access to meal account balances, transaction history, and online payments when enabled by the district.

Fees

The Fees section displays student fees, balances, and payment history. Families may also be able to make online payments through this area.

School Store

The School Store may be used to purchase optional items, activity fees, or school supplies.

Documents

The Documents section contains forms, notices, and documents that may require review or electronic signatures.

More

The More section provides access to additional information such as family information, contact information, demographic information, annual registration, and district-specific resources.
 

It is important to keep your contact information up to date in Infinite Campus to ensure you receive important school and district communications.

Parents and guardians can update their phone numbers, email addresses, preferred language, and notification preferences directly through the Parent Portal.

Update Contact Information

1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
2. Select the User Menu (profile icon) in the upper-right corner.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select Contact Preferences.
5. Review your current contact information.
6. Update phone numbers, email addresses, preferred language, and notification settings as needed.
7. Save your changes.

Manage Notification Preferences

Within Contact Preferences, you can choose:

• Which messages you would like to receive
• How you would like to receive them (phone call, email, or text message)
• Your preferred language for district communications

Important Information

When a phone number or email address is updated, Infinite Campus sends a confirmation email to the affected contact. This security measure helps notify users of account changes and helps protect against unauthorized updates.

 

This feature is not yet enabled.

Parents and guardians can use Infinite Campus to view meal account balances and add funds to a student's food service account.

Add Funds

1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
2. Select Food Service from the left-side navigation menu.
3. Review the current balance for your student.
4. Click Pay.

    

5. Enter the amount you would like to add.
6. Click Add to Cart.

    

7. Select My Cart.

    

8. Proceed to checkout and select an existing payment method or add a new one.

    

9. Enter an email address to receive a receipt.
10. Click Submit Payment.

Manage Payments

The My Accounts section allows you to:

• View payment history
• Manage saved payment methods
• Access receipts for previous transactions

Manage Payment Methods

The Payment Methods tool allows parents and guardians to add or remove saved credit and debit cards used for online payments in Infinite Campus.

Payment Methods can be accessed through My Accounts within the Food Service, Fees, or School Store sections.

Add a Credit or Debit Card

1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

2. Navigate to My Accounts.

3. Select Payment Methods.

4. Click New.

5. Select Credit Card/Debit Card.

6. Enter all required payment and billing information.

    

7. (Optional) Select Use as Default to make this your default payment method.

8. Click Save.

Your payment method will now appear in the list of saved payment methods.

Update a Saved Card

Infinite Campus does not allow existing payment methods to be edited. If you need to update card information, you must delete the existing payment method and add it again as a new payment method.

Delete a Saved Credit or Debit Card

1. Navigate to My Accounts > Payment Methods.

2. Select the payment method you wish to remove.

3. Click Delete.

    

4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

   
    

The payment method will be removed from your account.

I forgot my username or password. What should I do?

Use the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? links on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal login page. Please check your spam folders for emails from noreply@zb126il.mg.infinitecampus.org. If you are still unable to recover your account, contact the District Office at 847-731-9356 for assistance. 

Which mobile app should I download?

Parents and guardians should use Campus Parent. Students should use Campus Student.

Why can't I see my student in Infinite Campus?

If your student does not appear in your account, your parent account may not be linked correctly. Please contact the District Office at 847-731-9352 for assistance.

How do I update my contact information?

Log in to the Parent Portal and navigate to Settings > Contact Preferences to update phone numbers, email addresses, notification preferences, and preferred language.

Where can I view my student's grades and attendance?

Grades, attendance, schedules, and other student information are available from the left-side navigation menu within the Parent Portal.

How do I complete Annual Online Registration?

Log in to the Parent Portal and select Annual Online Registration from the Shortcuts section when registration is open.

How do I add funds to my student's food service account?

Select Food Service from the navigation menu and follow the prompts to add funds and manage payments.

How do I update or remove a saved payment method?

Navigate to My Accounts > Payment Methods to add or remove saved credit or debit cards.
