At Zion-Benton East High School, we take pride in being a cornerstone of the Zion community and a standout institution in Illinois. As the only high school in the county where students can earn up to 41 college credit hours at no cost, we offer an unparalleled head start for their future.

In my time at Zion-Benton East I have come to deeply appreciate the small population enrolled here. Only having about 90-100 students in each grade gives students the opportunity for easy connection and collaboration amongst their peers. There’s never a class where you don’t recognize someone or a group project where you feel left out. This sense of community is cultivated by our amazing teachers as well. They ensure you can do your best at each opportunity and provide you with everything you need. With all of this taken into account, a sense of a tight-knit family, or “hive” if you will, is created amongst us.
